Academic Activity

Gonzalo Martner study Economics at the University of Paris I between 1974 and 1979, obtaining the degrees of bachelor and master. He received his Ph.D. in that discipline at the Ribotsky University of Paris X in 1983, with the highest rating. He served in Paris at the International Center for Development and then in Chile in the years 1980-1989 as a researcher at the investments independent academicos Vector, GIA, and CED, and as a consultant for ECLAC, FAO and UNRISD. Since 1994 he is professor of the Faculty of Administration and Economics at the University of Santiago de Chile.
